I’ve lived here for a few months the now and feel like I can share my honest review. The cons of my review do not speak to the complex itself but my fellow residents. Let’s start with the pros: they are very nice apartments for the current rates they are offering which I was so happy for as I wanted to live in Melrose for a while and it’s one of the nicest complexes in the area. It’s not a very old building so while not “renovated” they choose nice finishes that have worked to stay stylish! There are full size washer and dryers in unit. The upstairs common area space is beautiful bother inside and outside as there is a large patio upstairs. The views are wonderful to the south and to the east. All in all I have liked my unit. The cons: My biggest con about the curve are the other residents that live here as they seem to not care about the place they live. There are stains on the carpet, people can’t pick up after their pets, we get constant emails about folks throwing stuff off their balconies and not picking up pet waste. Are we sure we are all adults who live here? I would love to see more aggressive action. I also think breed restrictions on dogs would be nice as there are some aggressive and untrained dogs that people shouldn’t have. One guys poodle leaped at my dog while trying to exit the elevator. The other issue is living on the “suicide” lanes of 7th Ave you have to leave to navigate them and then you are in the gayborhood with clubs and nightlife on the weekend so it can be loud if you are sensitive to noise. The issues I have with the actual complex is that the dog park area really needs some TLC. It smells sooooo bad of dog urine. The gate continues to have issues and has not been secured since I moved in so far but I appreciate their communication. Overall I do like the building I just wish the residents were more respectful. There are plenty of friendly faces and people do say hi but there are some bad apples for sure. The jury is still out if I would want to live here more than my current lease.

Alicia was great on my tour. I am looking to move in the spring but she was willing to show me around even though there aren’t apartments available yet. Excited to move in, have to hope something will be open!

I’ve had my ups and downs with this dog urine coated apartment building. Hitting me with a $56/month rent increase while two of the same floorplan apartments are being offered for $100/month and $99/month less than I’m currently paying is my final straw.

I didn't even know that this was a luxury apartments. The carpets are dirty when i noticed it during my tour they said that they will clean it. When I moved in it was still dirty. The hallways and elevators always smell. When I moved in my apartment was not clean out. They didnt tell me that they didnt have anymore assigned parking spots until i signed my lease. The club house is dirty. I tried to opt of my lease but they were charging too much. I would never tell anyone to move in this dirty complex. Good location and that's about it. Smh

I’ve been at The Curve for a year now, and I really appreciate Poleth—she’s always super helpful and explains things so clearly, which makes everything easier. Everyone at the leasing office has been nice. The pool area is always clean and chill whenever I go, which I love. The not-so-great part? Some people let their pets pee near the elevator, these days even inside and don’t bother cleaning it up. It’d be awesome they could just take a sec to clean after their pets.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at the Curve. Alicia was amazing she helped my friend and I tour apartments. She was organized and friendly it felt like she was my best friend immediately! Doing the little things for us and joking around with us the whole time. Always smiling and very positive definitely the top apartment touring experience I’ve had in a very long time.
